Great News for our members as we add two great new waters to our portfolio!
The first is approximately a mile of the Shropshire Union Canal at Christleton between Greenfield Lock and Rowton Bridge alongside the A41 Whitchurch Road. This in particular provides a great opportunity for the juniors in our club to experience canal fishing and to introduce new juniors into our sport through the free Lets Fish events we hold with our own Angling Trust registered coaches in conjunction with the Canal & River Trust.
The next is a 720 metre stretch of the River Weaver Navigation at Sutton Weaver. This is another great addition to our portfolio offering the opportunity for members to experience fishing on this deep and wide water with easy access and a good head of fish.
Both waters hold the usual canal type species Roach, Perch, Bream, Gudgeon, Pike, Eel, plus both s have a smattering of Carp to over 20lb plus and Chub
