Storm Damage Clearance and Repair Continues

Some of our ponds suffered during last year’s early storms with some substantial trees falling during the severe gales in and around our ponds causing obstruction and the loss of some swims.

There has been a lot of hard work during the year to clear the damage caused around the ponds and we have finally reached the last of the fallen trees on our back ponds with work completed this week by a small very hard-working band of dedicated volunteers to remove and clear the tree that had fallen into and around the Hut pond after being hit by a huge Oak that fell from the Newby opening up lost swims.
