Chester Tackle Locker Open Match Shropshire Union Canal (Pretty Bridge) Chester Tackle Locker will be running an open match at Pretty Bridge this weekend on Sunday the 28th pegged from the trees towards Backford (depending on numbers) Draw will be at 8.30 at the bridge, pools £17 all in, with £l peg fees going to Claire House charity. No Bloodworm or Joker allowed. It's an easy walk on a stoned flat path, but a fair distance to the pegs. Claire House Charitable Event Firemans Pool (Pool closed to members) Firemans pond will be closed on 19th August to allow Claire House Children's Hospice to hold a charity event for coaching of siblings and parents of patients. There will be two coaching sessions. 9:30am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 2:30pm Refreshments will be available after each session with burgers and hotdogs available from the barbeque.
